Infrared Inspections
Checkpoint inspectors use an infrared camera, as it is a proven powerful tool in diagnosing many conditions. It’s a non-invasive and non-destructive way to compare standard photos with infrared images to give the perspective that other methods simply can’t.
Infrared cameras can identify faulty wiring and outlets, and problems with switches and circuit breakers.
Drone Inspections
The drone camera gives you a different perspective. It’s a great way to inspect the roof and surrounding area. Walking on roofs can be dangerous and may cause more damage to the home.
Using ladders is limiting and may not allow us to inspect the roof fully for the accuracy needed. Slate and tile roofs can’t be walked on at all. Checkpoint inspects many of the components of the roof using a drone – including chimneys, skylights, flashing, gutters, vent stacks, soffits and siding – without damaging them, all from the safety of the ground.
